St. Margaret’s Church, Bodelwyddan

St. Margaret’s Church
Otherwise known as the marble church, St. Margaret’s Church dates back to July 24th 1856, when the first foundation stone was laid by Lady Margaret Willoughby de Broke, in memory of her husband, 16th Baron Willoughby de Broke. When built it was referred to as The Pearl of the Vale, and stepping inside you can see why, as fourteen different types of marble were used in its construction. Of note is its elaborate woodwork, and in the 202 foot tower, you can view two striking stained glass windows. Newly built the church was bright white.
