A great place to take the kids for a history lesson.Built in the 13th century, the Castle is very well preserved and uniquely the old town walls remain intact and can be walked on.
There is plently to see and do - if you climb up the towers you can see some beautiful views. The entrance fee is reasonable and well worth the money. Fish and Chips on the pier in Conwy after your visit is a must!

Royal Cambrian Academy, Conwy
The Royal Cambrian Academy of Art is both an arts gallery as well as an education centre for all ages to learn art. Exhibitions are changed throughout the year.
Do not be put off if you have children; the gallery runs art classes on a Saturday for children from 3 to 14 years old.
Other classes include holiday time art clubs, adult master classes as well as life drawing classes.

Plas Mawr Elizabethan Town House, Conwy
Plas Mawr is described as the finest surviving Elizabethan Town House in Britain.
You can take a grand tour of the house, built in 1576. The colours of the house are surprisingly vivid for the period. The ornamental plasterwork is beautiful, found in the hallway and great chamber.
The other onsite facilities include toilets, portable induction loop, exhibition, video presentation, audio adult and child tour, gift shop, garden.

Conwy Water Gardens, Conwy
Conwy Water Gardens are set in a woodland valley within the Snowdonia National Park. Enjoy discovering Capybaras, Pheasants, Fantail pigeons, feeding the ducks and watching the Otters and much more wildlife.
The Dutch Pancake House Restaurant is superb, with over 60 different types of pancake to choose from over afternoon tea.
There is a well stocked aquatic centre with over 100 species of fish and a reptile house, both selling equipment. The only activity that costs is the lake coarse fishing.
