Plas Teg
Plas Teg, on the A541 is one of the most important Jacobean houses in Wales. Plas Teg is a privately owned country house in north Wales, offering house and garden tours. Built by Sir John Trevor in 1610 in the Jacobean style, the house was purchased by Cornelia Bayley in 1986 and has been lovingly restored back to its former glory. The house is only open to the public on Sundays and Bank Holiday Mondays excluding Christmas weekends. The tour is not suitable for small children or wheelchair users. At present there aren’t any catering facilities.
