Rhosesmor Swing Park, Rhosesmor

Rhosesmor Swing Park
This is a great park for kids with a secure fence around it to keep them safe.

There are swings for young and older kids, a seesaw, springy things you can sit on and bounce, a climbing frame with slide, football goal posts and a large aerial runway which the kids love.

There is loads of green grass and a few benches for picnics. Dogs can be tied up outside, so dont worry. The condition of the park is excellent. Really worth a visit on a sunny day.

address: Head for Rhosesmor and drive through the village. You cannot miss it, honestly.

Moel y Gaer walk activity header

Moel y Gaer walk, Rhosesmor

Moel y Gaer walk
Moel y Gaer is the highest point on the common with panoramic views across Cheshire, the Wirral and Liverpool. The earth banks and ditches that encircle the summit are the remains of an Iron Age hill fort begun 2500 years ago. Communities once lived here within the protection of the banks of the hill fort in a 'village' of circular wooden huts and rectangular buildings. Well worth the walk, Mole y gaer can be found on the B5123 opposite Ysgol Rhos Helyg.
