Nant y Ffrith Woods, Treuddyn

Nant y Ffrith Woods
A nice walk through wooded valley on the border between Flintshire and Wrexham, if you can find where it is! Privately owned, the landowner allows public access, however as there are steep drops and quarries in the woods it is important to stick to set paths, which are clear and well made. There is a three-tier waterfall in the woods, which is the largest in the area, halfway down the gorge, hidden amongst the trees; however access is poor and paths to both the bottom and top of the falls are narrow, steep, uneven and slippery.
